From Bose to Bra’s 

Hi Babes, I am Chantelle Somas the owner of teysha, your new underwear bestie! 
 
So here is the tea- I used to own the Bose store in Perth. Yep. But after I wrapped up that chapter of my life, I was on the hunt to do something fresh, fun and unique. Most of all it had to be something that my two daughters were interested in. 

Let's fast forward to my eldest daughter Alysha (12 at the time) coming down stairs yelling “ Mum I need a strapless bra” So we hit the shops and found zilch. Everything was so grown up, no thanks! This shopping expedition revealed the lack of age appropriate, cute, fun bra’s for growing girls. She looked at me and said “Can’t you just make me one?” Bestie - I can’t even sew on a button. But what I can do is build a brand that did it right!

I found the MOST talented and skilled designer to work with - Marissa Ganino and together with lots of girl talk, advice and input from my two beautiful girls Alysha and Teyana we created teysha. Launching with a unique collection of bras and undies cute, comfy and crafted with so much love.

Every piece that we bring to our collection is made from ultra soft, organic cotton that’s fabulous for your skin. Whether you’re rocking our ditsy floral print of one of our chic solid colours you will love all of our little details. Like our exclusive t charms that make each design as unique as you are.

Our underwear feels just as amazing as it looks. That’s why our pieces hug your body in all the right places with breathable fabrics that keep you comfy all day long. Whether your lounging, studying or on the go you won’t want to take them off.

Our team is working hard behind the scenes and all we can say is there is so, so much more to come, but we have to keep it under wraps for now. So, for now get ready to wear your new favourite underwear and become part of the teysha movement.

ABOUT OUR DESIGNER

Marissa Ganino, a Melbourne based designer with a flair for sustainability and slow fashion has had quite a journey in the world of fashion.From crafting stunning pieces of lingerie for Elle Mcpherson Body, Kayser, Finelines as well as Marie Claire sleep wear, she has managed to do it all.

Juggling her super busy lifestyle running her own brand Tunik (www.tunik.com.au) as well as now joining teysha, Marissa has taken on the role of the head of creative design. She says it's is all about perfecting the softest most comfortable bras and underwear that are free from toxic chemicals for our teen girls.

With a young daughter of her own, Marissa shares a common interest in designing a bra and underwear collection using fabrics and materials that are better for children’s bodies, by using the safest and most breathable fabrics. Marissa believes first bras can be tricky, but at teysha we have made the cutest and healthiest underwear and bras while creating the perfect simple fits. We are sure you will have so much fun welcoming them into your wardrobe..
